Digital Products: Terms of Sale and Licence

These terms apply when you buy a Pension Plain digital product, such as the McCloud Remedy Preparation Workbook. Please read them before you buy. By completing your purchase, you agree to them. They sit alongside our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, which also apply to your use of the site.

Who you are buying from

Pension Plain is a trading name of VitaVerse LLC, registered in Wyoming, USA, and Pension Plain creates and licenses the content. Your payment is processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for the sale. In plain terms, Stripe is the seller for the transaction: it takes the payment, handles any applicable tax, and sends you your receipt. Your card statement will show PENSIONPLAIN. Pension Plain is the author and licensor of what you download.

What you are buying, and how you get it

Our digital products are delivered to you immediately as a download. Once your payment is confirmed, you receive a link to download your file by email, so please enter your email address carefully at checkout. You are responsible for downloading your copy and keeping it safe.

Your licence to use it

When you buy a Pension Plain digital product for personal use, we grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to download and use it for your own use. Please do not copy, redistribute, resell, share, or alter it, in whole or in part. The content remains the intellectual property of Pension Plain.

If you want to share a product with your members, staff, or clients, that needs a separate organisational licence. We are glad to arrange one: contact us at info@pensionplain.co.uk.

Educational, not advice

Pension Plain products are educational. They explain how pension rules work and help you understand your own paperwork and prepare your questions. They do not recommend a course of action, score your options, or take account of your personal circumstances.

They are not financial, tax, or legal advice, and they are not a substitute for regulated advice. Pension Plain is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

For free, impartial guidance, MoneyHelper is a good place to start. For a regulated decision, or a complex tax position, consider an FCA-authorised financial adviser or a tax adviser.

Cancellations and refunds

Because our products are digital content supplied to you immediately, a statutory right to cancel may not apply once your download has begun.

Refunds and cancellations are handled by Stripe as merchant of record, under its policies. Stripe may provide a refund in certain cases, for example within 60 days of purchase. If something has gone wrong, your file will not download, you bought the wrong item, or you are simply unhappy with your purchase, please contact us first at info@pensionplain.co.uk and we will do our best to help. You can also request a refund using the receipt Stripe sends you.

What our support can and cannot do

We can help you with access to your product and with general clarification of its wording. We cannot review your personal figures, interpret your individual pension statement, choose between your options, or provide financial, tax, or legal advice. Those are exactly the points where the free and regulated help signposted above is worth using.
